The “Mazaalai” restaurant, built on the Oyu Tolgoi project site in Khanbogd soum of Umnugobi province, was successfully handed over to the state commission on 21st of June 2018. During the construction of the project, engineers of NCCS LLC have been conducting Authors` inspection of architectural, construction, HVAC, plumbing, fire water, electrical and communication alarm system.
The kitchen consists of dining room with a seating capacity of 1500-1700 people, restaurant with seating capacity of 540m2, 1800m2 area with hot meals, salad dressing, storage, packed meal preparation room, bathroom and office. These three parts are separated by 1-hour fire-resistant fire wall. The kitchen has capacity of serving by three shifts in one shift to total of 5000 workers, with seating capacity of 2500 people and 2500 packaged meals preparation.
In addition, separately located dry and conventional storage of 514m2, 250m2 refrigerator, 125m2 freezer, 100m2 meat freezer and 47m2 area of solid waste compaction has been developed.
